BLOOD DONATION CAMP

National Service Scheme, Red Cross Society, Sattakalam Newspaper, Emaneswaram, Thangammal Rahim Foundation, Sivagangai Blood Bank, Salaigramam, Government Primary Health Centre and Road Safety Committee, jointly organized a blood donation camp on 25.8.2026. The blood donation camp was held under the chairmanship of the Secretary of the College, Janab V.M. Jafarullah Khan and was inaugurated by the Principal of the College, Mr. S.E.A. Jabarullah Khan. College professors, Nonteaching staff members, National Service Scheme, Programme officers and students participated in the blood donation camp. Three professors, two officers and 46 students, a total of 51 people donated blood. The event was organized by National Welfare Project Officers Dr. P. Zakir Hussain, Dr. K. Mahendran, Dr. Shifa, Dr. R. Syed Ali Fatima, Red Cross Society Coordinator Dr. S. Khadhar, Meeran Sattakalam Newspaper and Thangammal Rahim Foundation Editor Dr. Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

About Us

The unique feature of this college was that unlike other colleges, this College was not started by any single rich man or business people. Rather, this college was started by the ordinary citizens who have the thirst to start an educational institution for higher education in their locality. A membership fee of Rs.11/- each was collected and every citizen of Ilayangudi has contributed to the emergence of the College.
