80th INDEPENDANCE DAY CELEBRATION

80th Independence Day was celebrated on 15.08.2026. College Management Committee Member Janab A.S. Naseer Khan hoisted the national flag and accepted the parade honors presented by the students of the National Cadet Corps. Later in the function B.Sc. Chemistry third year student K.K. Agalya welcomed. College Management Secretary Janab V.M. Jabarullah Khan presided. College Principal Mr. S.E.A. Jabarullah Khan delivered the welcome address. BSc Chemistry third year student S. Sameha Jahan delivered the Independence Day speech. Special competitions were held for the teachers, officials and students of the school and prizes were given to the winners. The event was coordinated by J. Arul Teras Marisila and A. Noora, first year M.A. English students. Finally M. Nivethika, M.Sc second year Tamil Department student gave vote of thanks.

About Us

The unique feature of this college was that unlike other colleges, this College was not started by any single rich man or business people. Rather, this college was started by the ordinary citizens who have the thirst to start an educational institution for higher education in their locality. A membership fee of Rs.11/- each was collected and every citizen of Ilayangudi has contributed to the emergence of the College.
