ONE CRORE PALM SEED PLANTATION PROJECT

As part of the One Crore Palm Seed Plantation Project on the occasion of National Service Scheme Day, a palm seed planting event was held in the college campus on 24.09.2026. The event was inaugurated by the Principal of the college, Mr. S.E.A. Jabarullah Khan, while the Non teaching staff, Mr. S. Muhaideen Kader, distributed palm seeds to the students. More than 400 palm seeds were planted around the campus. NSS student volunteers participated and planted the palm seeds. The event was organized by National Service Scheme, Programme Officers Dr. P. Zahir Hussain, Dr. K. Mahendran, Dr. Shifa and Dr. R. Syed Ali Fathima.

About Us

The unique feature of this college was that unlike other colleges, this College was not started by any single rich man or business people. Rather, this college was started by the ordinary citizens who have the thirst to start an educational institution for higher education in their locality. A membership fee of Rs.11/- each was collected and every citizen of Ilayangudi has contributed to the emergence of the College.
