College, National Service Scheme and Tamil Nadu Government Public Health Department, Salaigramam Village, Ilayangudi Block. Dengue mosquito eradication work and fumigation event was held on 29.06.2026. The event was organized by the Principal of the college, Mr. S.E.A. Jabarullah Khan, National Service Scheme Officers Dr. P. Zakir Hussain, Dr. K. Mahendran, Dr. Shiba and Dr. R. Syed Ali Fathima.
The unique feature of this college was that unlike other colleges, this College was not started by any single rich man or business people. Rather, this college was started by the ordinary citizens who have the thirst to start an educational institution for higher education in their locality. A membership fee of Rs.11/- each was collected and every citizen of Ilayangudi has contributed to the emergence of the College.
