WORLD OZONE DAY – AN AWARENESS EVENT

On the occasion of World Ozone Day, an awareness program on global warming was held on 23.09.2026 on behalf of the College Science Club. Dr. A. Affrose, Coordinator of the College Science and Nature Club, welcomed the gathering. The Principal of the College, Mr. S.E.A. Jabarullah Khan, delivered the keynote address. As the special guest, Dr. K.A. Syed Abuthahir, Head of the Chemistry Department, spoke about the effects on the ozone layer and global warming and ways to prevent them.
Later, on behalf of the Nature Club, in a bird feeding event titled “Let’s Feed the Birds; Save the Birds” Professors and students installed bird feeders on trees. Finally, Dr. S.J. Helen, Co-Coordinator of the College Nature and Science Club, delivered the vote of thanks.
