College NCC cadets A. Arun and P. Santhana Kelvin Raja participated in a mountaineering training camp held at Araku Valley, Andhra Pradesh, from May 24, 2026, to May 31, 2026. The participating students were congratulated by the College Principal, Mr. S.E.A. Jabarullah Khan. Also present is the College NCC Associate Officer, Dr. R. Abdul Muthalif.
The unique feature of this college was that unlike other colleges, this College was not started by any single rich man or business people. Rather, this college was started by the ordinary citizens who have the thirst to start an educational institution for higher education in their locality. A membership fee of Rs.11/- each was collected and every citizen of Ilayangudi has contributed to the emergence of the College.
