AWARENESS PROGRAMME ON PREVENTION OF VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN

An awareness program on prevention of violence against women was held on 27.8.2026 in collaboration with the National Service Scheme, Red Cross Society, Singapenn Task Force and Road Safety Committee. The event was inaugurated by the Principal of the college, Mr. S.E.A. Jabarullah Khan and delivered the keynote address. As special guests, the Singapenn Task Force team from Sivagangai, Mrs. Gangadevi, Assistant Inspector of Police, Mrs. Malarkodi, Head Constable Mrs. Arogya Belsia spoke about violence against women, safety measures and complaint reporting methods. Also, the event was attended by the Director of the College Self-financing Courses, Dr. A. Sabinullah Khan, professors and more than 150 students. Finally, the National Service Scheme, Programme Officer, Dr. K. Mahendran, gave the vote of thanks. The event was organized by National Service Scheme, Programme Officer Dr. P. Zakir Hussain and Red Cross Coordinator Dr. S. Khader Meeran.
