BEST PRACTICES

>>> Our College taught Tailoring, Embroidering design, Zardosi design to the girls in our college. This is taught during break time by the professionals from outside. The main purpose of teaching these works is that, our college girl students are mostly from rural and backward area, they are not much interested in working outside their home town. Some of them are not even giving importance for studying master degree. Hence, getting job opportunities is very hard for all of them in their home town. Hence, it helps them to stand on their own legs. So, Tailoring, Embroidering design, Zardosi design provides self employment and also helps their parents to meet out day to day expenses.

>>>Motto of Blood Donation Day of the year 2023 is “Donate Blood, Save Life”. To make this motto a reality, Dr. Zakir Husain College plays a very important role in serving others. Serving the needy people is our prime objectives. In order to give life to others, Dr. Zakirian NSS wing organizes blood donation camp every year. The staff members and students are very keenly participating and donating blood. The collected blood was given to the government blood bank. For emergency, Our College NSS officers recommend to the blood bank to the needy people. Dr. Zakir Husain College NSS wing has received best NSS blood donor award for its inseparable services.

INSTITUTIONAL DISTINCTIVENESS

>>> “Both Discipline and Education” are like a two parallel lines. Hence, our college gives importance to both.

>>> In order to meet out our vision of giving education, college bus is operated to remote area of nearby villages.

>>> Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) of our College organizes many training programs, workshops every year to help students to develop their entrepreneurial skills. EDC connects students with industry experts, successful entrepreneurs through competitions and pitch events where students can show their ideas to potential investors and partners. EDC helps create supportive ecosystem for entrepreneurs and promotes an entrepreneurial culture in the college. EDC also provides access to funding opportunities.

>>> In order to enhance the insights, knowledge, current affairs and reading habits, the students are provided English news papers daily at very nominal cost. They are also encouraged to use the library regularly to improve their knowledge in order to face the competitive examination. Hence, a separate committee named “Competitive Examination” was created to give free coaching and training to the students.

>>> Driving of four wheeler is taught to those who are interested.

>>>The students of our college utilize cloth bags especially MANJAPAI to avoid plastic consumption.
