The birthday of His Excellency the President of the Republic of India, Scientist Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam and Youth Renaissance Day was celebrated on 15.10.2025 on behalf of the College National Service Scheme. Dr. B. Fathima Kani, National Service Scheme, Programme Officer welcomed the gathering. Dr. A. Mushtaq Ahmed Khan, Vice Principal of the College delivered the keynote address. Dr. K. Sulthan Syed Ibrahim, Associate Professor, Department of Chemistry, attended as the special guest and delivered a special address. The event was coordinated by Dr. Shifa, National Service Scheme, Programme Officer. Finally, Dr. K. Mahendran, National Service Scheme, Programme Officer, proposed the vote of thanks. The event was organized by Dr. P. Zahir Hussain, National Service Scheme, Programme Officer.

About Us

The unique feature of this college was that unlike other colleges, this College was not started by any single rich man or business people. Rather, this college was started by the ordinary citizens who have the thirst to start an educational institution for higher education in their locality. A membership fee of Rs.11/- each was collected and every citizen of Ilayangudi has contributed to the emergence of the College.
