Our college students secured second place in the basketball competition between Alagappa University affiliated colleges held on 15.10.2025 at Sri Sevugan Annamalai College, Devakottai. The winning students were congratulated by the college principal Mr. S.E.A. Jabarullah Khan. The college physical education director Dr. S. Kalidasan was also present.
The unique feature of this college was that unlike other colleges, this College was not started by any single rich man or business people. Rather, this college was started by the ordinary citizens who have the thirst to start an educational institution for higher education in their locality. A membership fee of Rs.11/- each was collected and every citizen of Ilayangudi has contributed to the emergence of the College.
