SCHOLARSHIPS OFFERED BY GOVERNMENT OF TAMILNADU

The Tamil Nadu government offers various scholarships to college students, targeting different categories such as BC (Backward Classes), MBC (Most Backward Classes), and DNC (Denotified Communities).
These scholarships are available for students pursuing 3-year degree programs.

PUTHUMAIPENN & THAMILPUTHALVAN SCHEME

The Government of TamilNadu has launched Moovalur Ramamirtham Ammaiyar Higher Education Assurance Scheme (for Women students) and Tamilputhalvan Scheme (for Men students) to enhance the enrolment ratio of students from Government/Government Aided (TM) schools to Higher Education Institutions.
Through this scheme, the financial assistance of Rs. 1000/month will be provided to the beneficiaries till their completion of UG programme.
The incentive amount under this scheme will be disbursed directly into the student’s Bank Account.

ALUMNI SCHOLRSHIP OFFERED BY COLLEGE

Alumni Association of our college offers scholarships for deserved students those who not able to pay college fees, transport fees, examination fees etc.
Eligible students might approach their concerned head of the department to avail this scholarship.

About Us

The unique feature of this college was that unlike other colleges, this College was not started by any single rich man or business people. Rather, this college was started by the ordinary citizens who have the thirst to start an educational institution for higher education in their locality. A membership fee of Rs.11/- each was collected and every citizen of Ilayangudi has contributed to the emergence of the College.
