Students studying in the third year and postgraduate Commerce (Computer Application) of the college participated in the National Seminar organized by Pandian Saraswati Yadav College, Arasanur on 19.02.2026 and submitted their research papers. The students were congratulated by the Principal of the college, Mr. S.E.A. Jabarullah Khan. Head of the Department, Dr. S.A. Shamsudeen Ibrahim and Assistant Professors, Mrs. M. Nagajothi and Mrs. R. Vennila were present.
The unique feature of this college was that unlike other colleges, this College was not started by any single rich man or business people. Rather, this college was started by the ordinary citizens who have the thirst to start an educational institution for higher education in their locality. A membership fee of Rs.11/- each was collected and every citizen of Ilayangudi has contributed to the emergence of the College.
