On behalf of National Service Scheme, National Youth Day was celebrated under the guidance of Principal, Mr. S.E.A. Jabarullah Khan. Dr. M. Sheikh Abdullah, Assistant Professor, Department of Tamil elaborated on the thoughts and special features of Swami Vivekananda. In order to explain Vivekananda’s thoughts to the students, a painting and oratorical competition was held among the students. College students participated and benefited from the programme. The event was organized by Dr. A. Affrose, Dr. M. Sheikh Abdullah, Dr. B. Fathima Gani and Dr. R. Mohammed Fatima, NSS Officers of the College.

About Us

The unique feature of this college was that unlike other colleges, this College was not started by any single rich man or business people. Rather, this college was started by the ordinary citizens who have the thirst to start an educational institution for higher education in their locality. A membership fee of Rs.11/- each was collected and every citizen of Ilayangudi has contributed to the emergence of the College.
