NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY SEMINAR

College Science Forum and Internal Quality Assurance Cell jointly organized a seminar on the topic of “Aqua Culture and Rural Employment” on 19.02.2026 on the occasion of National Science Day. College Vice Principal Dr. A. Mushtaq Ahamed Khan welcomed the gathering. College Principal Mr. S.E.A. Jabarullah Khan delivered the keynote address. Science forum Coordinator Dr. E. Roshan Ara Begum introduced the special guests. Dr. R. Sobhana Manoharan, Assistant Professor, Department of Biotechnology, Thiagarajar College, Madurai, attended as the special guest and delivered a special speech. Science students participated in the event. Finally, Dr. M.S. Kajaamuhaideen, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics, gave the vote of thanks.

About Us

The unique feature of this college was that unlike other colleges, this College was not started by any single rich man or business people. Rather, this college was started by the ordinary citizens who have the thirst to start an educational institution for higher education in their locality. A membership fee of Rs.11/- each was collected and every citizen of Ilayangudi has contributed to the emergence of the College.
