MICROPLASTIC-AN EMERGING ENVIRONMENTAL THREAT

College Science Club and Internal Quality Assurance Cell jointly organized an awareness seminar on the topic “Microplastic – An emerging Environmental threat” on 29.09.2025. College Vice Principal, Dr. A. Mushtaq Ahmed Khan welcomed the gathering. College Principal Mr. S.E.A. Jabarullah Khan delivered the keynote address. College Science Club Coordinator Dr. E. Roshan Ara Begum introduced the special guests. Assistant Professor, Department of Microbiology and Biotechnology, Dasim Beevi Abdul Kader Women’s College, Keelakarai, Ms. K. Ganishka participated as the special guest and spoke. Finally, College Science Club Co-Coordinator Dr. M.S. Khaja Najmuddin proposed the vote of thanks.

About Us

The unique feature of this college was that unlike other colleges, this College was not started by any single rich man or business people. Rather, this college was started by the ordinary citizens who have the thirst to start an educational institution for higher education in their locality. A membership fee of Rs.11/- each was collected and every citizen of Ilayangudi has contributed to the emergence of the College.
