The Department of Mathematics and the College Internal Quality Assurance Cell jointly organized the Mathematics Forum Inauguration on 25.07.2025. The Head of the Department, Dr. M. Muthusamy welcomed the gathering. The Principal of the College, Mr. S.E.A. Jabarullah Khan delivered the keynote address. Associate Professor, Dr. R. Zahir Hussain introduced the special guests. The special guests were Dr. K. Arjunan and Dr. KE. Sathappan, Associate Professors of Mathematics, Alagappa Government Arts College, Karaikudi who inaugurated the Mathematics Forum and delivered special speeches. Undergraduate and postgraduate mathematics students were participated in the event. Assistant Professor, Dr. B. Fathima Kani, proposed the vote of thanks.

About Us

The unique feature of this college was that unlike other colleges, this College was not started by any single rich man or business people. Rather, this college was started by the ordinary citizens who have the thirst to start an educational institution for higher education in their locality. A membership fee of Rs.11/- each was collected and every citizen of Ilayangudi has contributed to the emergence of the College.
