The online program held on 25.09.2025 on behalf of Tamil Nadu School Education and Higher Education was broadcast live to the college students. The event was attended by the Honorable Tamilarasi, Member of Legislative Assembly, Manamadurai, the Principal of the college, Mr. S.E.A. Jabarullah Khan and Ilayankudi, Vatachchiyar. Professors, students and officials participated in the event online.
The unique feature of this college was that unlike other colleges, this College was not started by any single rich man or business people. Rather, this college was started by the ordinary citizens who have the thirst to start an educational institution for higher education in their locality. A membership fee of Rs.11/- each was collected and every citizen of Ilayangudi has contributed to the emergence of the College.
