INTERNATIONAL CANCER DAY SEMINAR

College National Service Scheme, Red Cross Society, Science Club, Emaneswaram, Thangammal Rahim Foundation and sattakalam Newspaper jointly organized a Cancer Eradication Awareness Seminar on the occasion of International Cancer Day on 04.02.2026. Assistant Professor Dr. E. Roshan Ara Begam welcomed the guests. College Principal Mr. S.E.A. Jabarullah Khan delivered the keynote address. Thangammal Rahim Foundation Founder Dr. Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Former Economics Department Head Dr. A.T.N. Abubakar delivered the felicitation address. Senior Oncologist Anantha Krishnan, Meenakshi Hospital, Madurai, participated as the special guest and spoke about the mechanisms of cancer, the need to detect it at an early stage and provide appropriate treatment. He answered the doubts and questions raised by the students at the event. The event was hosted by Assistant Professor Dr. A. Affrose. Finally, Assistant Professor Mr. S. Kader Meeran proposed the vote of thanks. The event was attended by Professors and students including Self-financed Courses Director Dr. A. Sabinullah Khan, Vice-Principal Dr. A. Mushtaq Ahmed Khan.
