COLLEGE DAY & SPORTS DAY – 2026

The College Day and Sports Day was held on April 2, 2026. D. Ajith Kannan, a third-year undergraduate student in Physics, delivered the welcome address. Mr. V.M. Jafarullah Khan, Secretary of the College delivered the presidential address. Mr. S.E.A. Jabarullakhan, the College Principal, and Dr. S. Kalidasan, the College Director of Physical Education, presented the annual reports. Felicitation addresses were delivered by Dr. Mohammed Ali Jinnah (Founder, *Sattakkalam* Magazine, Emaneswaram), Advocate John Xavier, Mr. M.M. Mohammed Mustafa (Principal, College of Education), and Mr. A. Hameed Davood (Member, Management Committee). 

Dr. M. Anisa Parveen, Head of the Department of English, introduced the Chief Guest. Dr. S. Sumaiya, Principal of Thassim Beevi Abdul Kader College for Women (Keelakarai), attended as the Chief Guest and delivered the special address. During the event, certificates and prizes were awarded to students who secured university ranks and high academic scores, as well as to those who achieved victories in various sports competitions at both the university and college levels. Finally, D. Sharmila, a second-year postgraduate student in Tamil, proposed the vote of thanks. The event was attended by members of the College Governing Body—Alhaj A.S. Naseer Khan, Mr. S.K.M. Abdul Saleem, and Mr. J. Abubacker Siddiq—along with Dr. A. Sabinullah Khan (Director of Self-Financing Courses), faculty members, and students.
