"Blockchain and Crypto Assets" Awareness Programme

An awareness programme on crypto assets transacted through blockchain was held on January 8, 2026, organized by the College Entrepreneurship Development Cell and the Department of Commerce. Dr. K. Naina Mohammad, Associate Professor of Commerce, delivered the welcome address. The college principal, Mr. S.E.A. Jabarullah Khan, delivered the presidential address. The special guest, Mr. Bahurudeen Ali Ahamed, MSME Certification Consultant and International Digital Transaction Planning Consultant from Dubai, delivered the special address. The event, which was held in two sessions, was attended by commerce students and college professors. Finally, Dr. S. Nasar, Head of the Department of Commerce, delivered the vote of thanks.

About Us

The unique feature of this college was that unlike other colleges, this College was not started by any single rich man or business people. Rather, this college was started by the ordinary citizens who have the thirst to start an educational institution for higher education in their locality. A membership fee of Rs.11/- each was collected and every citizen of Ilayangudi has contributed to the emergence of the College.
