About Me

AbdulhadiBepukaran is an Assistant Professor of Arabic, at the Department of Arabic, Dr. Zakir Husain College, Ilayangudi since July, 2019. After his graduation from Qatar University in Arabic language and literature, he had been a researcher in Arabic language and literature at the Research Department of Arabic of Maharaja’s College, Ernakulam, affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University. He worked there on a thesis regarding Tafsir literature, on the basis of a comparison between Tafsir‘Al-Mizan FI-Tafsir el-Quran’ by Allama Muhd. Hussain Tabatabae and ‘Tafsir el-Thahrirwa-Thanwir’, by Sheikh Muhd. At-Taher bin Ashoor.
After qualifying UGC-NET (National Eligibility Test) in Arabic stream conducted by the University Grants Commission, Government of India, he was permitted to the admission of a doctoral degree under the guidance of Dr. PP Mohamed, the former Registrar of the University of Calicut. He has published 7 Papers in ISSN journals including 2 peer reviewed international journals. Additionally, he has acquired a commendable experience spanning between 7 years, on Arabic<>English translation, localization and voice over services, in addition to a certified membership in the Arab Translators Network (ATN-APTS), headquartered in Lebanon. Mr. Abdulhadi Bepukaran is a polyglot speaking and publishing in Arabic and English, along with speaking Hindu/Urdu/Hindusthani, Tamil and Malayalam.
The learning of Persian and German has been going on. Also he is an ardent Blogger of a journalistic orientation, as well as the President of the Indian Professional Arabic Translators Association (ATAI), founded in 2017. On a lighter side, he is an occasional author of poems in Arabic. He has an elementary knowledge and great interest in Sociology, Anthropology and History & Architecture. He’s a connoisseur of Classical Carnatic and Hindustani music as well as films.
He has contemporary research interests in Arab studies and the synthesis or equilibrium of Arab lives in the predominantly Shiite Persian areas.
