AWARENESS PROGRAMME AGAINST DRUG ABUSE

An awareness programme against drug abuse for college students was held on 08.01.2025. Dr. S. Naser, Co-Coordinator of the College Drug Awareness Committee welcomed the gathering. Dr. A. Mushtaq Ahmed Khan, Vice Principal of the College delivered the Presidential address. Dr. J. Helen, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics was the chief guest and spoke on the ill effects of drug abuse on students. Students and Professors of the Department of Physics participated in the event.

About Us

The unique feature of this college was that unlike other colleges, this College was not started by any single rich man or business people. Rather, this college was started by the ordinary citizens who have the thirst to start an educational institution for higher education in their locality. A membership fee of Rs.11/- each was collected and every citizen of Ilayangudi has contributed to the emergence of the College.
