An awareness programme against drug abuse for college students was held on 03.01.2025. Dr. S. Naser, Co-Coordinator of the College Drug Awareness Committee welcomed the gathering and introduced the special guest. Dr. K. Sulthan Syed Ibrahim, Associate Professor, Department of Chemistry participated as the Chief Guest and spoke to the students about the types of drugs and the effects of drug use. About 200 students participated in the event. Dr. S. Kalidasan, Coordinator of the Drug Awareness Committee of the College proposed vote of thanks.

About Us

The unique feature of this college was that unlike other colleges, this College was not started by any single rich man or business people. Rather, this college was started by the ordinary citizens who have the thirst to start an educational institution for higher education in their locality. A membership fee of Rs.11/- each was collected and every citizen of Ilayangudi has contributed to the emergence of the College.
