ANTI RAGGING CELL

Ragging in any form is a punishable offence.
As per UGC direction, Anti ragging Cell has been functioning in our college to eliminate ragging.
The following action has been taken against students those are engaged in Ragging.
- Suspension from attending Classes and Academic privileges
- Withholding/Withdrawing Scholarship/Fellowship and other benefits.
- Debarring from appearing in any Test/Examination or other Evaluation process.
- Withholding Results
- Debarring from representing the institution in any Regional, National or International Meet, Tournament, Youth Festival, etc.
- Suspension/Expulsion from the Hostel.
- Rustication from the Institution for period ranging from one four semesters.
- Cancellation of Admission.
- Expulsion from the institution and consequent debarring from Admission to any other Institution for a specified period.

ANTI RAGGING PORTAL

University Grants Commission (UGC) functioning the Anti-Ragging Portal (antiragging.in) serves as a platform for students.
As per UGC direction, it is mandate for each student and his/her parent/Guardian to submit an online undertaking each academic year at web site >>> ANTIRAGGING PORTAL
On successful completion, the student will receive an Email with his/her reference number, weblink and the Affidavits (both for parents and students) in the email-id provided by the candidate.
The student needs to submit the signed affidavit to respective departments.

About Us

The unique feature of this college was that unlike other colleges, this College was not started by any single rich man or business people. Rather, this college was started by the ordinary citizens who have the thirst to start an educational institution for higher education in their locality. A membership fee of Rs.11/- each was collected and every citizen of Ilayangudi has contributed to the emergence of the College.
