Ilayankudi, District Legal Committee, College National Service Scheme, Anti-Drug Association and Youth Red Cross jointly organized an awareness program against drug abuse on 19.08.2025. Dr. S. Nassar, Co-Coordinator of College Anti-Drug Association welcomed the gathering. Dr. A. Mushtaq Ahmed Khan, Vice-Principal of College, delivered the keynote address. Special guests, Ilayankudi, District Munseeb and Judicial Judge M. Manivarman, Advocates Velmurugan and John Xavier Britto, participated and spoke about the effects of drug abuse and legal measures. The event was hosted by National Welfare Program Officer Dr. K. Mahendran. The event was organized by National Service Scheme, Programme officer, Dr. P. Zahir Hussain, College Anti-Drug Association Coordinator Dr. S. Kalidasan, Youth Red Cross, Coordinator Mr. S. Kader Meeran. Finally, National Service Scheme, Programme Officer Dr. B. Fathima Kani gave the vote of thanks.

About Us

The unique feature of this college was that unlike other colleges, this College was not started by any single rich man or business people. Rather, this college was started by the ordinary citizens who have the thirst to start an educational institution for higher education in their locality. A membership fee of Rs.11/- each was collected and every citizen of Ilayangudi has contributed to the emergence of the College.
