NSS SPECIAL CAMP DAY 5

The fifth day of the special camp on behalf of the college National Service Scheme was held in Keelayoor village on 01.02.2026. National Service Scheme, Programme Officer Dr. B. Fathimakani welcomed the gathering. Assistant Professor of Tamil Department Dr. R. Gorijohn delivered a special speech. Paramakudi, Electropathi and Acupuncture, Doctor A. Abdul Jaleel participated and spoke on the topic of Food is Medicine. A small grain food competition was held for the students. Students took out a rally emphasizing drug eradication, road safety, plastic eradication and election awareness. In the afternoon, special competitions were held for the students of Keelayoor, Panchayat Union Primary School and prizes were distributed. Finally, National Service Scheme, Programme Officer Dr. Shifa gave the vote of thanks. National Service Scheme, Programme Officers Dr. K. Mahendran and Mr. M. Abbas had made the arrangements.

About Us

The unique feature of this college was that unlike other colleges, this College was not started by any single rich man or business people. Rather, this college was started by the ordinary citizens who have the thirst to start an educational institution for higher education in their locality. A membership fee of Rs.11/- each was collected and every citizen of Ilayangudi has contributed to the emergence of the College.
