AWARENESS PROGRAMME ON SPECIAL INTENSIVE REVISION (SIR)

A special intensive voter correction awareness program on filling the enumeration form was held on 24.11.2025 at the college open air auditorium with about 1500 students. The college principal Mr. S.E.A. Jabarullah Khan inaugurated the event. The special guest was Mrs. K.A. Syed Jameema, the former Chief Chairperson of Ilayankudi Town Panchayat, who attended the event and provided training on how to fill the enumeration form with correct information and in a simple way for the students to understand. Further, she provided training on how to fill Form 6 and register as voters for the first year students who will complete 18 years of age on 01.01.2026. The event was moderated by Dr. M. Sheikh Abdullah, Head of Tamil Department. Finally, the college Vice Principal, Dr. A. Mushtaq Ahmed Khan proposed the vote of thanks.

About Us

The unique feature of this college was that unlike other colleges, this College was not started by any single rich man or business people. Rather, this college was started by the ordinary citizens who have the thirst to start an educational institution for higher education in their locality. A membership fee of Rs.11/- each was collected and every citizen of Ilayangudi has contributed to the emergence of the College.
