ORIENTATION PROGRAMME (DAY-II)

Orientation programme for first year students second day event was held on 02.06.2026. College Vice-Principal Dr. K. Naina Muhammad welcomed. College Principal Mr. S.E.A. Jabarullah Khan presided. In the first session Dr. K. Sulthan Syed Ibrahim, Associate Professor of Chemistry, spoke about the college governing body, college regulations, skill development training offered in the college. In the second session Dr. A. Mohammad Yasin, Assistant Professor, Department of Economics, spoke about the Naan Mudhalvan Skill development programme offered in the college. In the third session, the Head of the Department of Chemistry Dr. K.A. Syed Abuthahir spoke. The event was hosted by Orientation Programme Coordinator, Dr. S. Nassar. Finally Dr. R. Jayamurugan, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry gave vote of thanks.

About Us

The unique feature of this college was that unlike other colleges, this College was not started by any single rich man or business people. Rather, this college was started by the ordinary citizens who have the thirst to start an educational institution for higher education in their locality. A membership fee of Rs.11/- each was collected and every citizen of Ilayangudi has contributed to the emergence of the College.
