HIGHER EDUCATION GUIDANCE PROGRAMME

On 26/06/2025, an event was held to take a pledge against drugs in collaboration with the college’s National Service Scheme and the Anti-Drug Club. The college principal, Mr. S.E.A. Jabarullakhan, presided over the event, where professors and more than 200 students participated in taking the pledge against drug use. The arrangements for the event were made by the National Service Scheme officers, Dr. B. Fathimakani, Dr. P. Jahir Hussain, Dr. K. Mahendran, and the college’s Anti-Drug Club co-coordinators, Dr. S. Nasser and Dr. S. Kalidasan.

About Us

The unique feature of this college was that unlike other colleges, this College was not started by any single rich man or business people. Rather, this college was started by the ordinary citizens who have the thirst to start an educational institution for higher education in their locality. A membership fee of Rs.11/- each was collected and every citizen of Ilayangudi has contributed to the emergence of the College.
