The Planning Forum was inaugurated on 10.01.2025 on behalf of the Department of Economics. Dr. S.M. Nargis Begum, Head of the Department welcomed the gathering. College Principal Mr. S.E.A. Jabarullah Khan delivered the presidential address. Assistant Professor Dr. M. Marimuthu introduced the Chief Guest. Dr. S. Kasi, Assistant Professor, Post Graduate and Research department of Economics, Thiagarajar College, Madurai was the chief guest and inaugurated the forum. Assistant Professor Dr. K. Mahendran proposed vote of thanks. Assistant Professor Dr. M. Mohammed Yasin and other departmental professors organized the programme.

About Us

The unique feature of this college was that unlike other colleges, this College was not started by any single rich man or business people. Rather, this college was started by the ordinary citizens who have the thirst to start an educational institution for higher education in their locality. A membership fee of Rs.11/- each was collected and every citizen of Ilayangudi has contributed to the emergence of the College.
