INTERNAL COMPLIANCE CELL & SEXUAL HARASSEMENT CELL

In view of mandate by Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013. A Sexual Harassment Cell has been established that addresses grievances related to sexual harassment, violence etc. specifically for women staff and students.
The committee, aiming to create a safe and supportive environment by preventing and dealing with incidents of harassment and violence.

ACTIVITIES

As per the guidelines issued in the act, the committee is formulated.
24×7 CCTV surveillance is functioning in each classrooms, corridors, recreation places etc.
A separate way is partitioning for men and women students.
Transport facility is only available for women students.
Each class mentors regularly monitoring student’s activities while working hours.
Students are advised to wear ID cards during working hours.
Gate pass system is implemented strictly for outsiders.

About Us

The unique feature of this college was that unlike other colleges, this College was not started by any single rich man or business people. Rather, this college was started by the ordinary citizens who have the thirst to start an educational institution for higher education in their locality. A membership fee of Rs.11/- each was collected and every citizen of Ilayangudi has contributed to the emergence of the College.
