On 24/06/2025, a drug awareness event was held in collaboration with the College National Service Scheme, the Anti-Drug Club, the Ilayangudi Court, and the Police Department. The program was welcomed by the NSS Program officer Dr. P. Jahir Hussain. The college principal Mr. S.E.A. Jabarullah Khan delivered the keynote address. Special guests included Sivagangai District Munseef and Judicial Court Judge R. Venkatesh Prasad, Bar Council advocates John Xavier Britto, Suganya, and the Ilayangudi Police Sub-Inspector Shivasubbu, who spoke about the mental and physical effects of drug use as well as legal actions. The college Anti-drug Club coordinator Dr. S. Nassar proposed vote of thanks. The event was moderated by the NSS Program officer Dr. B. Fathima Kani. The event arrangements were made by NSS Programme officer Dr. K. Mahendran and Anti-Drug Club, Additional Coordinator Dr. S. Kalidasan.

About Us

The unique feature of this college was that unlike other colleges, this College was not started by any single rich man or business people. Rather, this college was started by the ordinary citizens who have the thirst to start an educational institution for higher education in their locality. A membership fee of Rs.11/- each was collected and every citizen of Ilayangudi has contributed to the emergence of the College.
