TAMIL TRADITIONAL FOOD FESTIVAL

On behalf of Department of Tamil, “Traditional Millet Food Festival and Literary Forum Festival” was held on 09.01.2025. College Principal Mr. S.E.A. Jabarullah Khan and Vice Principal, Dr. A. Mushtaq Ahmed Khan, inaugurated the programme. In the event, 53 girls participated as group contestants and 73 girls participated as individual contestants and displayed traditional millet food of Tamils. A prize was awarded for the best work.
Dr. P. Ibrahim, Head of the Department, welcomed the gathering at the literary club function. Dr. A. Mushtaq Ahmed Khan, Vice Principal of the College delivered the presidential address. Assistant Professor Mr. K. Abdul Rahim introduced the special guest. Trichy, Urumu Dhanalakshmi Vidyalaya, Tamil Teacher Mr. R. Madhu was the chief guest and delivered the keynote address. Students of Tamil Department participated in the event. Finally, Assistant Professor Dr. Shifa proposed vote of thanks.

About Us

The unique feature of this college was that unlike other colleges, this College was not started by any single rich man or business people. Rather, this college was started by the ordinary citizens who have the thirst to start an educational institution for higher education in their locality. A membership fee of Rs.11/- each was collected and every citizen of Ilayangudi has contributed to the emergence of the College.
