On 6th June 2005, IQAC was formed in our college after getting accredited by NAAC with “B+” grade in 2004 with 77.75% of marks. We got reaccredited in 2010,when college got the coveted ‘A’ grade with a CGPA of 3.23 out of 4.
The online teacher peer team visited our college for the 3rd cycle of accreditation on July 18-20, 2016 and ‘B+’ Grade was awarded. The Composition of present IQAC with effect from 2016-17.
The unique feature of this college was that unlike other colleges, this College was not started by any single rich man or business people. Rather, this college was started by the ordinary citizens who have the thirst to start an educational institution for higher education in their locality. A membership fee of Rs.11/- each was collected and every citizen of Ilayangudi has contributed to the emergence of the College.
